About the team
Spotlight is one of SAP.iO’s latest ventures. Its focus is to help enterprises improve their business operations and processes in a data-driven way. Based on SAP’s exclusive data assets, domain knowledge and the latest technologies, we show our customers where their problems are, what to focus on and how to improve their operations and process landscape.
We strive to build an insanely great product by building an insanely great team. We’re looking for an associate product manager to support Spotlight's product management ensuring that our customers’ expectations are met while collaboration closely with our development team.
 

The Role
In this role, you will help to optimize Spotlight's product capabilities, support decisions on new product features to maximize customer satisfaction and ensure the execution by helping the development team to execute on the customer requirements.

You will contribute to the success, quality, cost management and delivery of Spotlight in the whole product lifecycle. You will assist in describing the product backlog which reflects customer as well as user needs and support enriching the product backlog and support the scrum team and other relevant stakeholders to understand the backlog.
In additional, you ensure product delivery by supporting expert testing and validate planned and implemented scope throughout the product lifecycle. You assist the creation of product-related non-coded assets (such as rollout and knowledge transfer material) and in collecting and incorporating feedback from customers and other relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

• Contribute to the success, quality, cost management, and delivery of Spotlight.
• Assist in describing the product backlog.
• Assist the creation of product-related non-coded assets.
• Collect and incorporating feedback from customers and other relevant stakeholders.
• Assist Spotlight’s release process.
• Support creation of strategies to steer Spotlight's future in a positive direction.
• Support activities on Spotlight's operation capabilities to surpass customer. satisfaction and retention.
• Support cross-functional operations and customer success.

Role Requirements
To ensure success you should have background and experience in SAP’s commercialization process, in business development and marketing. Experience in the area of startups and new business models is a plus.
You should be hungry, ambitious and get energized connecting with new people and helping solve their problems with technology. Required skills

• Master's degree in International Business, Management, or equivalent subject.
• Practical experience working on commercialization processes.
• First hands-on experience in the field of Business Development.
• Experience in using Customer Relationship Management tools.
• Knowledge in the field of business model development and pricing models.
• First experience in early validation initiatives and/or SaaS start-up experience.
• Outstanding organizational abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written skills.
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
• Fluent in English and German is a must.

Preferred

• Experience in start-ups and fast-growing environments.
• Experience in fundraising.
