We’re looking for an ambitious and talented Community Manager (all genders) to join our team of international professionals, working with the Goodgame Empire development team. The ideal candidate is an experienced Community Manager with a proven track record of remarkable and exemplary customer service. You are also creative, self-motivated, conscientious, detail-oriented, hungry to learn, thrives in a fast-paced environment, with superior spoken and written communications skills. In addition, the Community Manager will be responsible for planning & implementing multi-channel fan outreach programs, building audiences and then engaging with them. You will help create engaging messaging & content across all social media channels, websites, forums & blogs.

Your Job:

  • Be the voice of Empire: Four Kingdoms & Goodgame Empire to our fans with transparent, authentic, and accessible communications
  • Manage communities across Empire: Four Kingdoms & Goodgame Empire forums, 3rd party forums, and social media platforms to develop understanding of our players and their needs
  • Build and maintain relations with community leaders and influencers
  • Develop and manage communication strategy/community channel
  • Design and roadmap a community development strategy specifically for communication &  social network channels
  • Collaboration with other teams/departments to develop and execute the franchise marketing activities
  • Generate meaningful/constructive report on community sentiment and voice of community
  • Develop innovative plans, programs and strategies to increase reach of communication and community engagement
  • Handle other duties as assigned

Your Profile:

  • Fluent in English, optional also in German or another language
  • Knowledge and passion for mobile and web games, gaming and gaming communities
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Basic knowledge of mobile games, devices and app stores
  • Prior experience in the video game industry, social media and marketing
  • A strong record of partnering and relationship building across a matrixed environment and demonstrated experience anticipating issues and the skills to be strategic, proactive, and assertive
  • Proven experience in defining, developing and implementing a communication strategy in a brand conscious organization
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
  • Self-motivated and ability to develop new initiatives as well as managing multiple tasks with little supervision
  • Passionate player of video games
