As a Senior Data Analyst (m/f) in our marketing team, you will combine your passion for computer games with statistical, economic and IT knowledge. You will be responsible for quantitative analyses of our 300 million+ registered players. Developing and maintaining our internal marketing data platform is also a fundamental part of your role.
You will recommend courses of action, create reports, and use tools that contribute to optimizing our marketing activities and thus increasing our company's success.
Your Job:
- Use statistical methods to carry out data analyses based on very large volumes of data
- present complex relationships in a visual and understandable way
- Plan, coordinate, and implement new analytics solutions
- Work with data systems such as HP Vertica and Hadoop
- Make use of tools such as SQL and Tableau
- Take over communication with data warehouse, IT, and other departments regarding technical marketing processes
- Monitor data sources, ensure the provision and accuracy of data, find and correct data errors
Your Profile:
- A completed degree with a focus on statistics, data science, computer science, or other fields with a significant mathematical and statistical component
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Good knowledge of developing simple web applications Preferably in PHP or Javascript (e.g. AngularJS, ReactJS)
- Experience with complex SQL database queries
- Basic knowledge of database design (MySQL, Vertica) and R
- Very good written and spoken English
