HR Trainee (m/f/d) in Kraków

Are you interested in Human Resources? Have you been thinking about gaining international work experience? Our internship in UPM's Global HR Service Center in Kraków, Poland may be just the opportunity for you! We are now looking for a HR Trainee to join our Recruitment team in spring 2024.

40 Stunden pro Woche

What are you going to do:

  • Assist the team in daily HR work, mostly around Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Post jobs on selected recruitment channels and support employer branding activities, schedule interviews and ensure active communication with candidates during whole recruitment process, including hiring and onboarding
  • Ensure great employee and candidate experience by maintaining clear and consistent communication
  • Prepare documentation and process and maintain data in various systems (Workday, ServiceNow) ensuring the highest quality
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks taking into consideration your skills and interests

What we offer:

  • Support with relocation to Kraków: This includes travelling to Kraków and free accommodation for the whole internship. UPM will provide accommodation for trainees who relocate.
  • This will be a single room in a “common flat” of 3 or 4 rooms with access to common kitchen.
  • The flat will be inhabited by other UPM employees at the same time. Kraków is an expat-friendly and affordable city offering a wide range of attractions as well as great transport connections to the Tatra Mountains and other parts of Poland!

What we ask:

  • Enrolled in a state-recognized university
  • You have an excellent command of German and are fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • You are a student in a relevant field of study – students in the beginning of their studies are also welcome to apply!
  • You are interested in HR and eager to learn how it is organized in a global company
  • You are comfortable working within a team and bring a positive spirit
  • You demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
  • You are keen to use different software and are interested in learning new systems
