Our Category Management Team is passionate about fashion and lifestyle. We want customers to find the perfect fashion and lifestyle products for them, from shoes and clothing and accessories. Category Management’s task is to put together an on-trend and profitable selection of products. We love discovering new brands and products for the Zalando shops, but finding the right trends is only one aspect, as we also need to keep track of our KPIs and processes. Constant exchange with other departments like logistics, content and photo production, the onsite team and marketing ensures that we act in line with the whole organisation. In the end, we are all working towards the same goal: to create an excellent experience for our customers at Zalando.
JUNIOR MANAGER IN SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (m/f)
We continue to grow and are looking for you as support - immediately, on a permanent basis in our beautiful location in Berlin Friedrichshain.
Not only the daily delivery volume must be handled at Zalando, but also the flow of goods from our suppliers. The Inbound processes are fundamental within our logistics network. Since the purchase orders are initiated by our purchasing department a close coordination is crucial. As an operational interface between the two worlds you are responsible for the smooth running of processes.
- You take a supporting function in the Inbound Process Management team and are part of your team responsible for monitoring and continuous improvement of existing logistics processes in the Inbound
- You are responsible for smaller projects where Inbound flow will be optimized together with the suppliers, the purchasing department and the warehouses
- You are the contact for questions and problems of different departments and you are able to inform and train them in a group about complex process changes
- You support your team during bottlenecks and can organize and prioritize your tasks
- You can independently monitor processes and identify and report relevant KPIs
- You are proud to have a Business or Engineer's degree (Bachelor or Master)
- You preferably have 1-3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management and / or Business Consulting
- You are excited by ad hoc queries and projects
- You are very reliable and contribute solution-oriented thinking
- You are able to work independently
- You are proficient in using MS Office
- You are (preferably) holding a Six Sigma certificate
- You have very good English & German skills
