Software Developer (m/f/d) focus on sensor simulation and track data analysis in Bremen

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The complexity of modern naval platforms and the growing range of missions require well-trained seafarers - especially in critical situations. With its simulators, Rheinmetall offers comprehensive training solutions for civilian and military applications.

We develop training simulators for areas ranging from ship command and navigation, marine engineering and cargo loading to submarine training or e-learning solutions.

Your tasks include:

• Analysis of customer requirements for sensor simulation and track data analysis
• Implementation of customer requirements in a software design for simulation models
• Creation of specifications and software design for simulation models
• Implementation of the created design in the team
• Maintenance and extension of existing software modules
• Integration, test and verification of the software
• Specification of functional tests
• Execution of the commissioning in the company and on site at the customer
• Software documentation according to standardized procedures

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Completed technical studies in computer science or comparable qualifications
• Good knowledge of the programming languages C++ and Java
• Knowledge of software development under Microsoft Visual Studio (Windows) and Gnu-C++ (Linux) for creating reusable modules
• Experience in the development of user interfaces in the QT Framework
• Broad technical system understanding with good abstraction skills
• Willingness to travel on business at home and abroad
• Good knowledge of English and German
• Team spirit
