Systems Engineer (m/f/d) for software & control engineering (SPS) in the field of aviation in Bremen

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Bremen-based Rheinmetall Technical Publications GmbH has been an independent company within Rheinmetall Group since 2007. At seven locations within Germany, we produce technical documentation and offer logistic support services for civil and military systems. Furthermore, we are a certified military aeronautical engineering company and, as such, are qualified to develop, manufacture and maintain aircraft and aviation equipment.

As part of the aeronautical engineering operation, the focus of this position is on the software support and modification of engine factory stands.

The tasks include:

• Conception, design and programming of software components
• Implementation of software analyses and definition of a software design
• Conversion of physical models into software
• Creation of software specifications
• Documentation and verification of the created software
• Support for software integration
• Conversion of inspection, test and sequence plans in SPS

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable. Alternatively a completed apprenticeship as an IT-specialist for application development
• Experience in the development and integration of software programs
• Good knowledge of modern software development (V-Modell/V-Modell-XT)
• Knowledge in SPS programming as well as other programming languages (e.g. C#, C++, C)
• Knowledge of operating systems and real-time operating systems (Unix/Linux and real-time Unix/Linux)
• Knowledge of HTML/XML is desirable
• Ability to work in a team as well as a solution-oriented and independent way of working
• Good knowledge of English and fluent German (spoken and written)
• Occasional willingness to travel
