Doblin Hamburg is in search of talented Design Interns for our growing team in Hamburg, Germany. We are interested in hearing from people with hands-on experience in Human-Centered Design and prototyping methods – ideally trained in ethnographic user research and with a wide interest in different businesses.

The ideal Design Intern studies interaction, product, or environments design and is capable of making digital and/or physical prototypes. A Design Intern will work collaboratively, creatively, and flexibly within multidisciplinary teams from Doblin and Deloitte Consulting. Candidates should embrace the ambiguity needed to create new offerings and the ability to work across a range of projects, industries and mindsets combining design, tech and business.

We are looking for exceptional talents to strengthen our teams in Hamburg. Design Internships at Doblin are typically 3-4 months long, are full-time and equitably compensated. Start dates are flexible.

• Work with our project teams along our design process supporting them during user research, ideation, concept development, prototyping and testing
• Build empathy with users , interpret and communicate research insights and their implications for new offerings
• Help design physical and/or digital prototypes
• Help to communicate our projects to clients and the rest of Deloitte through storytelling

• A passion and curiosity for learning about the world, human behavior, and the motivations that lie beneath the surface to create solutions that fit into people’s lives
• A practiced ability to transform research observations into critical insights and actionable recommendations
• Interest in collaborating and working on multidisciplinary teams with designers and non-designers
• Comfort with ambiguity and experimentation, and the ability to quickly dive into a new domain or process
• Compelling written and spoken communication in German and English
• Pursuing a degree in design, design strategy, human-centered design or equivalent
• Have technical skills in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Invision, Power Point and others
