What we do?
 
We develop smart solutions for our B2B partners in multiple industries to help them better understand their customers and improve their propositions and operations. Our focus industries encompass e.g. media/advertising, retail, transportation, OEM`s or smart cities. We also work with our partners to innovate their propositions, e.g leveraging new sensor technologies in the IoT space.

For our IOT platform geeny.io we are looking for a "Business Development Manager B2B2X (m/w)":

 

Main responsibilities:

 

- Be key account manager for a set of partners and clients: manage relation, help co-create partner’s value proposition development, coordinate milestones and roadmaps between partners and clients and internal team, as well as funnel partner feedback back to product owner.
- Own the opportunity funnel for a set of target customers/partners from contact origination to contract closing.
- Shape and constantly improve value proposition communication, identify relevant sales arguments, and create related sales materials (partially with marketing & communications team) in target industries.
- Make the company known – pitch the value proposition at industry events, client’s premises, as well as through non-traditional channels.
- Identify the right resources and draw them into product pitches – from across the company and the partner ecosystem.


Key skills: 

 

- At least 4 years of track record in challenging environments.
- Domain expertise with deep knowledge of IoT industry trends, user demands and pain points to be able to pitch product vision convincingly; additionally knowledge of consumer trends and retail industry (B2B2C) with related domains/products/journeys.
- Sales experience incl. succesfull key account assignments for software and HW solutions and high end, consultative client development skills with focus on business impact for client
- Individual skills with sales and entrepreneurial mindset required: self-starting, high energy individual with ability to tailor and execute on own plan to reach objective.
- Distinctive communication skills with ability to convey complex messages convincingly – in written, oral and presentation format.
- Sufficient authority to act as a credible peer for prospective clients.
- Ability to sense the mood in a room and to identify and to engage decision makers and influencers
