PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Technology & Innovation (T&I) is responsible for SAP’s overall platform and technology development such as SAP Cloud Platform and SAP HANA. In addition, T&I drives the incubation and adoption of intelligent technologies like Analytics, SAP Leonardo Machine Learning and IoT across SAP’s product portfolio. The T&I board area is also in charge of SAP’s global innovation agenda and builds new business model- and market driven innovations to help customers realize the most business value.

SAP Cloud Platform (SAP CP) is part of the Business Technology Platform and provides platform and business services combined with SaaS solutions. Our strategic direction from a commercial perspective is the Cloud Platform Enterprise Agreement (CPEA) which allows customers to use services in SAP CP in a flexible manner through a consumption-based charging model. We take care of the commercial operations of SAP Cloud Platform. Our team ensures a smooth onboarding of services into the CPEA license model and takes care of customers after the sales process. We are part of the SAP Cloud Platform COO office and deliver business insights into our platform and ensure commercial success of SAP CP. These insights are provided based on reliable master data about the platform that needs to be maintained continuously.  

Our team is based in Walldorf, Germany and we collaborate with other teams world-wide. We are well established, consist of highly skilled individuals, coming from various backgrounds. All of us unites the passion for cloud, operational topics and customer success. We are looking for a young professional who want to contribute to transforming SAP CP technology into a sustainable and profitable business with excellent internal processes. Professionalism is important, but we also want to foster a work environment where fun@work is a key enabler for success. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a member of our team you will have the opportunity to learn about SAP Cloud Platform, its capabilities and commercial offering. In addition, we look for a technical hands-on individual who is willing to implement and run Cloud Platform services to cater for our internal processes. As an upcoming project, we would like to build a more robust onboarding and master data management process for our commercial onboarding that integrates with the technical onboarding. This is just one example of many interesting projects ahead of us. 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required skills

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or other related fields. 
• Practical thinking and a business mindset; Affinity to numbers is a must.  
• Development and hands-on skills with SAP Cloud Platform. 
• Enjoy working as a team player combined with a persistency to achieve joint goals.
• Ability and willingness to work in virtual teams across organizations and time zones.
• Fluent in German and English language (written and verbal). 

Preferred skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform services and Cloud Reporting data. 
• Experience and knowledge of commercialization process within SAP is a plus but not pre-requisite. 

WORK EXPERIENCE

2 years work experience in software industry.
