Batch Process Administrator (m/f/d)

Coburg, Bavaria, Germany

• Contract Type: Permanent
• Start Date: Immediately

Here’s what you can look forward to

• Communicating the service portfolio from the pre-production environment through to production
• Collaborating with other departments to understand requirements and develop tailored solutions
• Coordinating activities within the group and the departments/groups for which we provide services
• Planning, creating, and monitoring batch processes using the "IWS" job control tool and other industry-standard tools
• Analyzing and implementing ongoing optimization and automation measures for existing processes
• Monitoring and executing data processing operations in a mainframe environment as part of a 24/7 operation (on-call duty)

Your Profile

• Degree in computer science or training as an IT specialist with several years of professional experience
• Ideally, knowledge of the following systems: z/OS, MVS/ESA, TSO/ISPF, JCL, JES2, OPC/TWS/IWS, REXX, IBM Utilities
• Preferably, expertise with IBM Workload Scheduler and scheduling in distributed environments
• Experience with Beta Systems and HORIZONT products is a plus
• Excellent analytical skills and conceptual thinking
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the willingness to work independently
• Fluent German (at least C1 level) and good English skills
