Intern for Computational Science (m/f)

• Automate the processing / screening of large amounts of Biomedical Literature with regard to complex criteria
• Support in the selecting of suitable methods or algorithms for the business problem
• Assist in developing a prototypical Deep Learning application

 

• Student (m/f) within a master’s program in Informatics, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science or Computational Science

• Initial experience in one of the following fields: Data Science, Artificial Intelligence Algorithms, Machine Learning (Neuronal Networks, Deep Learning)
• Knowledge about Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) architecture
• Understanding of Natural Language Processing tasks such as speech recognition, sequence classification, sequence generation
• Experience in the programming language Python and with the framework tool TensorFlow (Keras)
• Good analytical skills and the ability to develop and implement innovative ideas and creative concepts
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

FURTHER INFORMATION

 

We offer a voluntary internship in Berlin or Wuppertal for a duration of 3 - 6 months or the possibility of a mandatory internship for the length prescribed in the examination/study regulations, with the possibility to follow up with the Master's thesis afterwards.
