Summary & Role Information:
The customer base of our product S/4HANA financial products subledger are banks, insurers and fintech companies. These companies face tremendous change of their business driven by increasing digitalization and mega trends such as cloud-based information infrastructure or artificial intelligence. 
Hence, we are seeing a constantly growing number of customers and therefore we are looking for new team members to join us in our success story! 
As a developer in one of our four scrum teams in Walldorf you are responsible for developing high-quality software with your team following agile practices and in close collaboration with our international customers. Amongst others, your tasks include to  

• understand the customer requirements 
• translate it into software design 
• code it and test it 
• support our customers to adopt it 

 
We offer in-depth hands-on education and training to allow you to become familiar with our products and the technologies we use. Additionally, a mentor and your team will always be at your side! 
  
Role Requirements:  
 
Required skills 

• Academic degree in computer science, natural science or comparable qualification 
• Very good software development skills 
• Fluent in both English and German 
• Quality and customer focus 
• Enjoying teamwork and dealing with people combined with good communication skills 

 
Preferred skills 

• And advantage would be first insights into the fields of banking or insurance business, first experience with agile practices in software development, knowledge of ABAP or any comparable object-oriented programming languages as well as artificial intelligence and machine learning.
