Praktikum - Aufbau Radar System in Renningen

Radar sensors are well-known for their accuracy in detecting range and velocity of remote objects. During the last years, the research community has also used them for classification tasks related to human gesture recognition. During the internship, you will work on the development of our radar system demonstrators and their functionality for gesture sensing. Main topic will be the design of schematic and layout of PCBs.

• Familiarization with Radar systems, existing radar sensor prototypes and their operation.
• Initial operation and verification of circuits.
• Programming and configuration of demonstrators.
• Optimization of RF performance parameters.
• Setting up and performing measurement experiments and documentation.

• Education: studies in the field of electronic engineering, information technology, computer science or similar courses
• Personality and Working Practice: self-motivated and communicative, proactive, independent and creative
• Experience and Knowledge: familiar with Altium design, first knowledge in hardware design and measurement equipment as well as experience in microcontroller programming is beneficial
• Enthusiasm: strong interest in Radar sensors and high-frequency technology
