SUMMARY & ROLE INFORMATION
Built on top of SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC) provides unified data access for analytical and intelligent capabilities across SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise. The Data Layer in DWC manages the connectivity to a wide variety of systems from relational databases or transactional applications to Data Lakes and Cloud-based Object Stores. It provides monitoring and modeling capabilities to enable a holistic and high-quality view on the data of a company.

As an (Junior) Developer (f/m/d) in our team, you will work in an innovative cloud development context in the field of data management and data integration. Members of our team are involved in the full software development lifecycle, from discussing requirements to design, architecture, implementation and quality assurance.
Together with experienced colleagues and early tenants you will work in an agile context that requires to interact with multiple development teams in the HANA & Analytics organization. This teamwork across locations as well as close collaboration with stakeholders and customers will be essential for the success of our team.

EXPERIENCE / ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• University degree in Computer science or a related area
• First experience in cloud software engineering (e.g. design, architecture, test-driven development, unit tests and continuous integration and delivery) is a plus
• Strong interest and basic knowledge to work with databases and SQL
• Good communication skills in English and German
• Programming skills in cloud technologies (JavaScript, Node.js, or TypeScript) is a plus
• Analytical and communication skills for providing efficient solutions to complex topics

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Some relevant work experience as a developer is a plus, however graduates are welcome to apply!
