ABOUT THE TEAM

The Intelligent Data and Analytics Organization is THE trusted foundation of the Intelligent Enterprise for our company.
Leveraging SAP‘s latest technologies, we create a seamless experience to access trusted data across our system landscape and deliver smart insights to enable steering excellence at SAP. 
As part of the Intelligent Data and Analytics organization the Financials & Corporate Cluster assumes ownership for the creation of financial analytical assets and SAP’s financial planning processes.  
 

THE ROLE

As an intern in our Team you will get familiar with SAP’s analytics solutions and data models on SAP HANA or SAP BW. You will support colleagues in building new SAP Analytics Cloud Dashboards as well as in testing activities. Besides that, you will support the team in its maintenance activities for existing analytical solutions. You will also get familiar with all relevant financial planning processes and support the team here as well. Based on the understanding of SAP’s financial reporting and planning processes you will gain over time, the position is a unique opportunity to develop and grow your talents in a global role coping with both, business and technology.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS 

• Student at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study: business informatics or business administration (preferably with focus on Controlling / Management)
• Computer skills: Professional user of MS Office; basic knowledge in SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) or Excel VBA as a plus, also to be broadened over time
• Language skills: fluent in German and English      
• Soft skills: creative, open minded and strong team player  
• Ability to work successful in a team as well as independently and have a positive self-motivated can-do attitude
• Effectiveness in problem-solving, results oriented, but focused on quality, pragmatic and hands-on person

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
