ABOUT THE TEAM

As part of IT Business Services unit, the IT Application Services department contributes to providing one stable system environment by delivering the necessary solutions, technologies, and innovations to create business value, enable new business models, and drive SAP’s Run Simple transformation – all based on rock solid operations.

The Intelligent Real Estate Solutions (IRES) team is part of the Core Finance IT Services division and aims to provide smart solutions with Robotic Process Automation and Chat Bots (SAP Conversational AI). Furthermore, we want to enrich our cloud portfolio with additional Fiori Applications.

Our goal is to contribute to the Intelligent Enterprise by providing smart solutions like iRPA, Chatbots and Cloud Applications. Additionally, these tasks will support us with our transition to the cloud and help SAP Employees with their day-to-day business.

The main activities will be related to web development. You will support the team by developing and maintaining UI5/Fiori Applications. By the time you will have your own project which will either be iRPA or Chatbot Development. 

You take over different tasks, including supporting the IRES scrum team in 

• Demonstrate excellent quality, development & delivery skills in scrum teams; working in short development and release cycles.
• Exhibit learning agility by quickly upskilling on new tasks and concepts.
• You are to follow agile software engineering methods and develop software including coding, testing, quality assurance, and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• An excellent understanding of data structures & algorithms
• Introduction to the concepts of functional and object-oriented paradigms

You will stay up-to-date with new developments and technologies around SAP and Core Finance (SAP Finance & SAP Facility).
 

Work max 20 hrs. during Semester time and up to 40 hrs. during Semester breaks.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS 

• You are a currently enrolled student at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Javascript knowledge is fundamental
• NodeJS is optional
• SAP Cloud Platform is desirable
• Web IDE/Visual Studio Code is desirable
