ABOUT THE TEAM

 

SAP is a leader in business applications with most of the world’s biggest and best companies running our software. SAP products are used around the world to bill, to buy, to hire, to take decisions and to execute on them.
The Tools team is an internal software development team responsible for defining, designing and implementing the applications that support the entire product development organization in their daily work.

THE ROLE

 

We are working in the Tools area in Walldorf, and our tools are developed by the scrum teams in Walldorf (Germany), Bangalore (India), Sofia (Bulgaria) and Palo Alto (USA). Our main goal is to make our users happy, and this includes great user experience as well as state-of-the-art documentation, roll-out and demos. Our documentation should not be written from a single tool perspective but explain a task of a user end-to-end. Furthermore, it should not explain the obvious, but help the user to be more productive with short, easy-to-understand and relevant information.

 

We expect you to work on the following tasks:

  • Write and design documentation for tools 
  • Help in rollouts and prepare demos
  • Take over product management tasks
  • Help in user testing and user interviews
     

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Currently enrolled Student (f//d) in technical communication, business, design or related subject
  • Excellent written communication skills 
  • Experience in product management is beneficial, but not required
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Wiki is beneficial, but not required
  • Experience with creating info graphics or explanation videos is beneficial, but not required
  • Ideally first-language proficiency in English or excellent written and spoken skills in English 
  • At least basic understanding of (spoken) German
  • Fast learner with independent working style 


Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
