Working Student: Full-Stack Developer

Recyda is a start up aiming at the creation and innovation of software solutions that promote the circular economy. Currently, we are developing a data-driven software tool to assess the recyclability of packaging on an international level. We are working together with several important players of the value chain and thought leaders in the field of circular economy to develop our solution and our business. As a growing start up, we are looking for talents who want to experience this special spirit and be part of the adventure of building a business.

What are you going to do:

We are looking for a Working Student Full-Stack Developer starting 11/2020. You will be strongly involved in shaping and maintaining a sustainable software product as a key contributor. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with a fun, diverse team of entrepreneurial people and who takes pride in building robust, scalable software with a modern tech-stack, learning everyday about new technologies.

You will...

  • ... develop awesome front- and backend services with cutting-edge technology
  • ... take part in technical discussions and product strategy meetings to translate user requests into

    new, valuable product features

  • ...be an active core member of the Recyda Team and bring in your own ideas

Skills and Experience

  • Currently matriculated student with experience in software engineering for the web and enthusiasm for the topics of sustainability and / or entrepreneurship
  • Prior knowledge of JS web frameworks and best practices is preferred. Our current tech stack uses Node.js (Express), React.js, ArangoDB (an amazing multi-modal graph / document database) and AWS + Firebase (Google Cloud)
  • DevOps experience (AWS / Google Cloud) is a big plus!
  • Flexibility and reliability are important in your working environment
