PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
We are dealing with various complex tax matters with multiple stakeholders in an international environment. As a business partner we give accurate and timely counsel to the business in a variety of topics.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
You will assist the M&A Tax, Group Tax Reporting and German Tax Team in the further implementation of the SAP Tax Compliance application within SAP’s Global Tax Function to further automate the tax compliance control process.  
You will support our focus group for automated tax compliance controls with the definition and implementation of new or refined compliance tests. This includes the formulation of complex                         regulatory requirements and their translation into technical specifications, testing the implementation and defining processes with our accounting departments for continuous mitigation.
Within your technical project support, you are presented with the opportunity to work with applied machine learning capabilities in a productive financial resource planning system. Therefore, we expect from you a level of self-sufficient working in alignment with our IT and consulting partners under the guidance of one of our senior tax experts.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Currently enrolled as a Student at a university or a university of applied sciences 

  • You are studying Business Information Technology or Computer Science in at least your fourth semester
  • Computer skills: basic knowledge of Word, Excel, etc.
  • Coding skills in SQL, ABAP, CDS views and knowledge about SAP data model
  • Willing and able to work in different technical environments with high attention to detail
  • Show strong interest in taxation matters, especially in the fields of Indirect Taxes. 
  • Self-motivated, proactive and solution oriented
  • Excellent command of German and English language

 

​​​​​​​Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
