ABOUT THE TEAM

We are looking for Working Students (f/m/d) who are excited to develop and operate microservices in hyperscaler environments, using cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes and Prometheus. This is your chance to contribute to SAP HANA Cloud, an enterprise-scale, cutting-edge database platform offered as managed cloud service.

THE ROLE

As a working student in one of our SAP HANA Cloud service teams, you will work close together with your teammates in a scrum-based development process. You will support the colleagues in working on the product backlog and operating the SAP HANA Cloud service according to the DevOps principles. You will participate in the team meetings like planning, review and daily sync. You will gain experience in developing high quality software using state-of-the-art technologies in an international working environment.  As a student your working hours will be flexible with a maximum on 20 hours each week during the semester based on hourly wage, up to 40 hours during the semester break. 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences in the area of computer science or related areas
• Initial experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, Git, Jenkins, AWS
• Initial experiences in one or more of the following languages: Python, Golang, Groovy, Java
• Very good language skills in German and English
• Team player, can-do attitude, self-motivated

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
