WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Ensure that all HR Strategic Interventions and Operations Projects are executed efficiently.
  • Ensure that HR systems and practices are standardized throughout all RDM sites.
  • Attend Executive/Operations Meetings as and when necessary and contribute/advise in accordance with HR Best Practice.
  • Ensure that the recruitment process is carried out timeously in accordance with the RDM policy and the EE Plan Control of document security system and procedure.
  • Improve the process flow to eliminate bottlenecks and delays.
  • Ensure that the training plans are drawn as per the needs of the company.
  • Monitor the implementation of training
  • Ensure that all departments have a transformation (EE) Plan.
  • Ensure that all critical, scarce skills, and identified positions have a back-up plan.
  • Participate and contribute meaningfully in the Transformation Committee.
  • Performance Management (Contracting and Reviews) are carried out as per RDM policy.
  • Ensure that all departmental managers are well trained and understand the PM system.
  • Follow up on Poor Performance and ensure relevant actions are taken to correct poor performance.
  • Ensure that the EAWP id implemented regularly.
  • Monitor and reduce the labour broker risk.
  • Ensure that all labour brokers comply with the SLA and Procurement contract terms.
  • Keep abreast with labour legislation changes and case law and advise where necessary.
  • Attend to IR cases
  • Attend to the National Bargaining Councils and the CCMA
  • Participate and advise in wage negotiations and labour forums

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • HR/Industrial Psychology Bachelor’s Degree or relevant NQF 6 equivalent qualification
  • 10 years experience in the field of Human Resources (General) Management
  • Good leadership abilities, good judgement and a decision maker
  • Full and competent understanding of all HR Disciplines
  • Industrial Relations experience
  • Organisational Development including Talent Management experience
  • CCMA Experience
  • Knowledge and interpretation of relevant Labour Legislation and Case Law
  • Must be prepared to travel and work irregular hours
  • Proven ability to communicate and operate at a Senior Level
  • Computer literacy (all MS Office packages)
  • Valid Driver’s license is essential as well as owning a vehicle
