Specialist IT License Management (m/f/d) in Düsseldorf

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Examination of license conditions
• Operational processing of current license management transactions
• Support and consulting of internal customers for the correct use of Software
• Support in the technical evaluation of software, hardware with regard to Licensing
• Support in the evaluation of Open Source components
• Research work and evaluation of legal foundations
• Archiving and maintenance of various data in the contract and license tool
• Contact person for internal customers, suppliers and external service providers
• Support in the further development and improvement of internal processes
• Support in the implementation of the software asset management process

Alternatively, the position may be exercised at another national Rheinmetall locations.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Technical or commercial training with several years of professional experience in the relevant Field of activity or comparable training
• Basic legal knowledge in the areas of copyright, licensing law, Open Source
• Basic technical knowledge in the area of software and hardware (server, client structures, virtualisation, CAD etc.)
• Basic knowledge of license metrics of common vendors (Microsoft, Adobe, VMware etc.) desirable
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Very good knowledge of MS-Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Independence and willingness to work independently
