Integration Manager Flight Simulation (m/f/d) in Bremen

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Changing environmental conditions, scenarios and threats as well as the associated complexity of modern air traffic systems require well-trained personnel - especially in critical situations. Rheinmetall Electronics in Bremen is developing simulators for this purpose, enabling users to receive highly realistic training - and thus prepare for upcoming missions. These include: computer-aided training, procedure and system trainers, cockpit procedures, maintenance trainers through to full-mission simulators and networked tactical simulators.

Your tasks as an Integration Manager (m/f/d) include:

• Planning and control of integration, commissioning and service of flight simulators in major international projects
• Interface coordination with the international companies involved in the project
• Definition and design of technical solutions in the field of computer systems, virtualization and networks
• Cooperation in the preparation of offers in the areas of training, maintenance and operation
• Calculations of integration services for flight simulation simulators
• Creation of integration concepts

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Completed studies in the field of computer science, electronics or communications engineering, ideally related to aviation. Alternatively, a degree as a master craftsman/technician in the field of aviation or related fields
• Hardware knowledge in the field of bus systems in aviation, or related systems
• Good knowledge of integration, operation and maintenance
• Good knowledge of computer systems, networks and virtualization
• Assertiveness in an international team
• Independent work, ability to work under pressure and in a team
• Good command of written and spoken English and fluent German
• Willingness to travel worldwide (sporadically longer business trips of about three to four weeks may be necessary)
