QA Software Tester (m/w/var) Test automation in Köln

As a QA Automation Engineer you will be responsible for automating our tests and the further development of a reliable quality assurance. You will work closely with up to two cross-functional product development teams. You will develop and implement automated testing from conception to deployment and be an integral part of the product teams and their development.

• Implementation and maintenance of test cases
• Optimization of test processes
• Support for the integration into a CI environment
• Create, execute, evaluate and maintain automated test cases
• Setting up, adapting and using test tools
• Implementation and evaluation of functional regression tests
• Analysis of existing test cases and achieved results, as well as monitoring the test progress

• A degree in computer science or a comparable training is an advantage
• You are familiar with test frameworks, unit testing and test-driven development (TDD)
• You have experience in software development, so you can read and understand source code
• You have good understanding of REST APIs
• You like to act as a consultant for the developers in the area of test conception
