System developer (m/f/d) focus on physics, optics and image processing in Bremen

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Calculation and further development of optronic systems
• Cooperation or coordination of research projects in the field of optronics
• Collaboration on superordinate system concepts
• analysis of customer and project requirements and preparation of specifications to track requirements
• creation of the corresponding test descriptions
• management of product families and cross-sectional planning of device families
• Drafting of business cases
• Definition of product roadmaps
• Performance of variant management

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Founded academic education in engineering, preferably knowledge of electrical engineering or academic education in physics
• Founded knowledge in optics or electro-optics, both in the visible and infrared range
• Mathematical knowledge especially in the field of image processing
• Independent and interdisciplinary work in a team
• Creativity and distinct capacity for innovation in the solution of complex technological problems
• Willingness to proactively drive forward changing challenges and tasks in various projects, always with a focus on camera technology
• Worldwide travel readiness
• Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of Matlab, C/C++ as well as of calculation methods and tools such as TRM4, VRM, LOWTRAN is desirable
