Software Developer (m/f/d) Focus Classification in Bremen

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Classification of software / software components according to the valid regulations of foreign trade law and the US (re)export regulations
• Checking, adding and releasing new material master data and maintaining foreign trade data
• Qualified classification of systems, assemblies and spare parts
• Processing of material release requests via SAP
• Contact person for all material master data issues and quality control of the delivered documents
• Review and classification according to customs and export legislation
• Support in the preparation of applications and notifications to the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA), the US authorities (BIS and DDTC) and in communication with the competent authorities

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Study of business informatics / computer science, ideally with focus on license and contract drafting
• Reliable, up-to-date knowledge and experience in software engineering, which is suitable for classifying software and advising technical departments on the selection of suitable licensing models
• Sufficient knowledge of foreign trade and export law
• Relevant experience e.g. in an international technology group or foreign trade company
• Communicative and assertive as well as technical understanding
• Very good knowledge of English
• Very good knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP systems and MS Office
• Willingness to take part in regular training and business trips
