IT Specialist (m/f/d) focus on databases, XML / XSL to support the technical editing in Bremen

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Database administration of the editorial system HiCo (creation and administration of projects, user administration, import and export of data)
• Adaptation and evaluation of data (modules) by means of scripts, mainly by (mostly self-developed) XSL transformations
• Verification of data and evaluation of results in accordance with the relevant specifications (ASD S1000D, National Style Guide, etc.)
• Management of the ticket system and prioritization of tickets
• Resource management and task distribution in the area of editorial support ASD S1000D
• Advice and support of the other departments at home and abroad in all questions concerning ASD S1000D, NSG etc.
• Participation in kick-off meetings

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Completed training as IT specialist (m/f/d) for application development or comparable
• Experience in handling editorial databases (e.g. ASD S1000D, DITA, QuILS, Flatiron)
• Very good knowledge of XML / XSL transformations
• Basic understanding of other programming languages (especially C++ / C#, Python)
• Very good MS Office knowledge
• Fluent written and spoken English and German
• A high level of social competence and team spirit to motivate employees
