Engineer (m/f/d) for functional safety and product reliability in aviation in Bremen

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Support of the engineering department within the scope of development projects on reliability, availability and safety of mechanical and electronic systems
• Creation of reliability and security report
• Development of necessary concepts and preparation of analyses
• Review and comment on specification requirements with cost estimates in the areas of reliability, availability, maintainability and safety (RAMS)
• Collaboration in the definition of RAMS targets and coordination with sales, project planning, development and quality control
• Participation in the logistic support analysis (LSA) as well as negotiations with internal and external customers regarding RAMS & LSA

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Completed technical studies in electrical engineering, physics or comparable
• Knowledge of electronic and electromechanical components and electronic circuit technology
• Expertise in the evaluation of mechanical and electronic assemblies and methods for reliability prediction
• Knowledge of the standards on reliability, safety and LSA (e.g. MIL-HDBK-217, FIDES, MIL-STD 882, DIN EN IEC 61508, MIL-STD-1388-1A/2B)
• Practical knowledge in the field of functional safety, RAMS and LSA
• Very good English and fluent German (spoken and written)
