WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Management and coordination of the internal bid and release process with all departments involved as well as technical coordination of the internal bidding team
  • Viewing, recording, evaluation and checking of request documents as well as derivation of customer-specific requirements
  • Creation of the bid structure and the bid plan in the function as interface between sales manager and bid team
  • Support the sales manager in the development and presentation of the bid strategy
  • Use of internal IT tools and databases to effectively monitor progress in the bid process
  • On-time and efficient completion of bids in compliance with budget specifications for the international, European and German market
  • Independent creation or contribution of contents (texts, graphics, pictures) to the bid documents
  • Continuously checking the quality of the bid documents and ensuring compliance with customer requirements
  • Evaluation of the bidding process according to standardized measures with regard to the achievement of targets
  • Support the sales process for new projects by creating market, product and competitive analyzes
  • Active participation in the further development of the sales and in particular bid management organization

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Degree in business administration, communication sciences, engineering or similar subject
  • English native speaker. Speaking German is a plus.
  • Several years of professional experience in bid management and / or active sales experience
  • Knowledge of purchasing processes (B2B) and / or procurement processes in the public sector (B2G)
  • Structured, independent and self-responsible working methods as well as safe handling of MS Office
  • Strong skills in writing offers and excellent analytical skills
  • Convincing and assertive personality with clear customer orientation
  • Preferably experience with investment goods and / or the defense industry
