Development engineer (m/f/d) Development of fiber lasers and optics in Düsseldorf

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Design, development and specification of complex optical components and systems for high power lasers
• Simulation of optical systems including tolerance analysis
• Selection, procurement and integration of optical components
• Planning, execution and evaluation of laboratory tests to check the properties of the optical components
• Technical coordination with subcontractors and production partners
• On-site development or service support for manufacturing partners and customers
• Production support during the product launch phase and in the event of technical Problems
• Requirement analyses and technical system documentation

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Completed studies in physics, electrical engineering with a focus on optics, technical optics or precision mechanics
• Professional experience in design and development of optical assemblies
• Ideally good knowledge of optical design software Zemax
• Independent working style, flexibility, creativity and ability to work in a team
• Willingness to travel on business
• Secure communication in English
• Secure communication in German
