WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Support in compliance with all relevant legal regulations (including DSGVO and BDSG)
• Coordination of the tasks of the Data Security Officer
• Regular reporting to the Division Compliance Officer, the Corporate Privacy Coordinator and the Data Privacy Officer
• Support of the process owners with the documentation of the data processing
• Support with data protection risk evaluation and, where appropriate, impact assessments
• Implementation of the data protection manual within the division
• Evaluation and documentation of technical and organizational measures
• Processing of data protection requests
• Training of employees in the area of data protection
• Obligation of employees to maintain confidentiality when handling personal data
• Review of data processing contractors (Art. 28 DSGVO)
• Participation in the clarification, documentation and reporting of data protection violations

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• University degree in law (diploma, bachelor's or master's degree, specialising in IT law or data protection law); alternatively business administration with focus on data management and/or organisation
• Know-how of the relevant regulations of the DSGVO and the BDSG
• Knowledge of practical data protection management
• Expertise on guaranteed personal rights of data subjects as well as information and telecommunication Technologies
• Familiarity with data security (physical security, cryptography, network security, malware and protection measures, etc.)
• Business competence (human resources, controlling, finance, sales, management, marketing, etc.)
• Good knowledge of English and German (spoken and written)
• Certification as a data protection officer by the GDD, UDIS or the BvD is desirable
