Configuration Manager (m/f/d) Focus Integrated Product Support in Bremen

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Ensuring a cross-project product configuration during the entire product life cycle (specification, development, integration, after sales)
• Definition and further development of rules and processes of hardware and software configuration management as well as development of methods for application and implementation
• Planning, control and implementation of the above mentioned configuration management activities for national and international project activities as well as close cooperation with the project teams and specialist departments
• Support of the Integrated Product Support in matters of product configuration and data management as well as transfer of experience from after sales to the specialist departments
• Definition and specification of configuration management interfaces (internal and external)
• Ensuring the collection, preparation, publication, storage and access to product & project data as well as logging of changes to product information

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Degree in computer science, engineering or comparable; alternatively, completed vocational training with proven work experience in configuration management
• Good technical understanding and experience or interest in nautical and marine engineering equipment
• Experience in configuration management, ideally with simulation systems or comparable systems
• Certification in configuration management and the corresponding software (e.g. CM2) is desirable
• Experience in project management is an advantage
• Comprehensive MS-Office and SAP knowledge, knowledge of web development is an advantage
• Fluent German and very good English knowledge (spoken and written)
• Willingness also to travel internationally on business trips
