PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Lifecycle Management is recognized as one of the most essential topics for SAP product success and as key on the market. As part of the Cloud & Lifecycle Management organization (CLM), our mission is to offer standardized tools and services for managing the lifecycle of SAP solutions spanning the full portfolio of on-premise and cloud products. With that our team is also one of the key technical enablers of SAP’s vision to provide a consistent and highly integrated product offering for the intelligent enterprise.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

SAP customers are using different cloud and on-premise products from our portfolio in order to implement their business processes. For example, for managing the full cycle of an employee assignment from hire to retire, customers are often using a combination of products such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Cloud Platform.
To enable smooth consumption of these cross scenarios SAP is standardizing and automating the software logistics tasks such as provisioning, configuration and update across the different products. In the center of that standardization is the landscape model, which provides the blueprint of required components and services for the corresponding business scenario. We are developing an SAP Cloud Platform-based tool, as well as corresponding consuming services that would allow SAP internal teams as well as customers to model cross scenarios and ensure consistent operations across the boundaries of the single products. 
As a developer associate in our team your responsibilities will include:

•    Participation in the design and development of cloud services based on the SAP Cloud Platform
•    Engagement with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of the new solutions
•    Participation in the operations of the produced solutions following the DevOps principles

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

•    University Degree in Computer Science or related technical areas
•    Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
•    Excellent programming skills
•    Knowledge of Java and JavaScript programming languages
•    Database and SQL knowledge
•    Fluency in English and German

WORK EXPERIENCE

We are looking for recent or upcoming graduates and young professionals alike with 0-3 years of work experience.
