PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

As part of the Consumer Industries development unit, our team is located in St. Ingbert and develops software with a focus on solutions for retail, wholesale and consumer products industries. At our St. Ingbert location, approximately 80 developers work on-site in 7 development teams, with further development teams located in Walldorf, Scottsdale, and Montreal.
We are looking for talented and motivated individuals, interested in learning about the end-to-end software development, starting from understanding of customers/end user needs, software development and maintenance. You will be part of a self-responsible Scrum team where you will get the opportunity to put into practice agile software development methodologies, like the Design Thinking approach, and other modern computing techniques.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a member of a small development team (Scrum team), you will work on-site in St. Ingbert, in the region Saarland. Depending on the actual development topic of the team you will implement solutions in ABAP OO (the SAP object-oriented programming language) and JavaScript (mainly SAP Fiori UI based on SAPUI5 framework).
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Studying preferably in the fields: Computers Science, Business Informatics, Natural Sciences or related fields           
• Having the following computer skills:  Programming skills in one or more programming languages        
• Sound English and German skills – verbal and written    
• Besides that, you are an excellent team player and self-organized  
• Good communication skills
