ABOUT THE TEAM
The Board Area Technology & Innovation (T&I) is responsible for SAP’s overall platform and technology development such as SAP Cloud Platform and SAP HANA. In addition, T&I drives the incubation and adoption of intelligent technologies like Analytics, SAP Leonardo Machine Learning and IoT across SAP’s product portfolio. The T&I board area is also in charge of SAP’s global innovation agenda and builds new business model- and market-driven innovations to help customers realize the most business value.
 

THE ROLE
The portfolio of T&I can be summarized under the umbrella of the Business Technology Platform (BTP). The BTP is a set of cloud-first computing services that helps our customers turning data into value. It comprises capabilities of the areas of (1) database and data management, (2) application development and integration, (3) analytics, and (4) intelligent technologies. The BTP encompasses, among others, the products SAP HANA, SAP BW/4, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, and the SAP Cloud Platform.
 

As a Project Associate / Consultant (f/m/d) – Business Technology Platform, you will work with the product management and product strategy teams of the BTP and:

• Assist in the execution of the BTP vision cross-functionally and end-to-end, from ideation and strategy, via planning, delivery, to sales, adoption, to customer success.
• Support the positioning of the BTP in the market and differentiation from competitors.
• Help coordinate and facilitate the BTP execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring the BTP to our users.
• Administrative team support, e. g. coordination of meetings and events.

This role will be based in Berlin/Potsdam.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge and interest in software product management (business viability, technical feasibility, and user desirability).
• Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking, dedication to put the customer first.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Execution focus and can-do attitude, absolute team player.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Master’s degree or higher in a software engineering or similar or interdisciplinary course combining software engineering with business.
• First experience in software product management or related fields.
