Intern Machine Learning (m/f/d)

YOUR TASK AND EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

• Work under supervision of machine learning (ML) leader within a Berlin based project team on projects to utilize ML with particular focus on patient
  safety

• Support developing and applying deep learning models for text-based data focused on natural language Processing (NLP)

• Create data structures for integration of data repositories and data analysis systems

• Support by identifying and assessing potential and limitations of artificial intelligence for patient safety relevant topics
• Help to drive and implement changes for improving everyday work

WHO YOU ARE

• Enrolled advanced Bachelor or Master student (m/f/d) in computer science, bioinformatics, data science or comparable
• First experience in developing and applying machine learning, specifically using NLP methodologies
• Expertise and extensive hands-on experience in Python and SQL
• Ability to structure and solve complex challenges independently and on flexible time scales
• High degree of commitment as well as the ability to take action for continuous improvement
• High ability to work in a team combined with the ability to deal professionally with internal customers of various organizational levels and external
  stakeholders
• Being open-minded and challenging the status quo
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

We offer a 6 months internship (either compulsory or voluntary) starting as of now.
