PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

HANA Platform & OEM - OEM Integration Services
The OEM Integration Services area in HANA Platform & OEM cluster is driving crucial developments for the Analytics platform concerning Analytics Designer, Application Abstraction as well as BW live integration. Our team is growing fast, and we are constantly in the pursuit of fresh innovations with the most user-friendly and modern cloud experience.
You will have the opportunity to hone your skills using leading-edge technologies for Cloud, Big Data, Mobile, SAP HANA (In-Memory Database) and modern Visualization. You will work with the Walldorf based development team but have also  contact with colleagues in Shanghai.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a working student (f/m/d) in the HANA & Analytics Platform & OEM team, you will contribute to both projects and ongoing tasks in the context of the above-mentioned integration topics.

In the resp. development team, you will:

• Design and build analytic applications with the analytics designer
• Measure and analyze the performance of analytic application
• Work actively on performance hotspots in the design- as well as run-time of the analytics designer

Preferred start date for the position is as soon as possible for a duration of at least six months.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
You are a currently enrolled student at a university or a university of applied sciences:

• Student (f/m/d), preferred fields of study: computer science, mathematics, engineering or a related field
• Good know-how JavaScript and TypeScript, knowledge in JAVA would be a plus
• Good know-how in common logging tools (e.g. Fiddler) would be a plus
• Communication is mainly in German, communication skills in English would be a plus
• Motivated person who can work independently
• Team player, curious and open minded, creative, highly motivated
• Ability to focus on details and support the preparation executive reports
