SAP started in 1972 as a team of five colleagues with a desire to do something new. Together, they changed enterprise software and reinvented how business was done. Today, as a market leader in enterprise application software, we remain true to our roots. That’s why we engineer solutions to fuel innovation, foster equality and spread opportunity for our employees and customers across borders and cultures.
SAP values the entrepreneurial spirit, fostering creativity and building lasting relationships with our employees. We know that a diverse and inclusive workforce keeps us competitive and provides opportunities for all. We believe that together we can transform industries, grow economics, lift up societies and sustain our environment. Because it’s the best-run businesses that make the world run better and improve people’s lives.
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP’s supply chain portfolio digitally connects the entire supply chain, to help our customers to deliver at their best. Our ultimate goal is to enable a touchless supply chain leading to intelligent self-regulating and optimizing fulfillment processes delivering the perfect order to our customer’s customer.
Core elements of the SAP digital supply portfolio are the solutions SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) and SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM).
With SAP TM customers can run activities connected with the physical transportation of goods from one location to another using suitable transportation modes (road, rail, sea or air). The solution supports the creation and monitoring of highly sophisticated transportation plans fulfilling the relevant constraints (e.g. service level, costs, and resource availability), determination of options to save costs and to optimize the use of available resources, react to transportation events (like traffic jams, accidents etc.) and find solutions to overcome unforeseen deviations from the original transportation plans.
With SAP EWM customers can manage simple as well as high-volume warehouse operations. The integrated functions and business processes within SAP EWM provide state of the art process and inventory transparency, precise planning of warehouse steps, as well as efficient distribution and storage processes within a warehouse including fully automated warehouse operations.
We are continuing to invest in delivering the intelligent enterprise using the latest technology within SAP S/4HANA cloud and on-premise and would like to further grow our development team in Germany (Walldorf, St. Ingbert) which is collaborating closely with our teams in India (Bangalore) and China (Shanghai).
In your role as Associate Developer (f/m/d) you will be part of a supply chain execution development scrum team and a vital contributor to the full development cycle by discovering requirements together with our customers and partners, identifying the appropriate architecture, designing, implementing and testing the features as well as maintaining it.
