ABOUT THE TEAM 

The Design organization of SAP HANA & Analytics aims to support our next generation, industry-leading cloud platform. Our global team is growing fast, and we are constantly in the pursuit of fresh innovations with the most user-friendly and modern cloud experience.

THE ROLE

As a (Senior) Designer (f/m/d) in our team, you will be working with a group of exceptionally talented and motivated colleagues. Our development process follows the principle of continuous integration, and we use design tools like Sketch, Illustrator or Photoshop, and JIRA with customized extensions in conjunction with in-house software like SAP Jam. 

On a usual day, you will create design specifications for Cloud Analytics platform, SAP HANA & Analytics, with focus on the tasks the end user has to do. 
In the same way you have to take responsibility for testing usability and providing UX sign off for upcoming releases. 

In addition to that you will engage and collaborate on concepts for new functionality with end users, customers and the sales team to better understand the needs and workflows.
Thereupon, you will build in close collaboration with the developers the fresh, friendly and elegantly simple user experiences for our customers.
 
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
 

• Excellent Bachelor or master’s degree in Interaction Design, Product Design, Media Design or Information Management 
• Fast learning curve and ability to quickly understand technical & complex topics
• Excellent visual design skills
• Deep Knowledge of methodology to perform user research and create user flow scenarios, personas, storyboards, prototypes, information architecture, icons and specifications 
• Profound knowledge of design software like Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop and other tools 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English 
• A design portfolio, which must be attached when applying for this job
