PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
A new fully digitized Business Suite – SAP S/4HANA – is a key pillar of SAP’s strategy. It is essential for the success of SAP that SAP S/4HANA becomes the most widely adopted business platform in the industry to manage our customers’ digital transformation, especially in the cloud but also in on premise.
Our team, S/4HANA Logistic – Available-to-Promise (ATP), develops innovations that provide our customers with instant and highly accurate data about the availability of physical goods throughout the entire supply chain. This increases the flexibility and intelligence of multiple general and industry-specific business processes. Our current team will be strengthened significantly by additional colleagues to build on that endeavor in the years to come.
Within our team, we practice a trust-based working model according to scrum methodology.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As Associate Developer (f/m/d) in software development for Logistics/ATP in SAP S/4HANA, you will be a vital contributor to the full software development lifecycle and:

• Design, implement and test the functions within your responsibility
• Deploy leading-edge quality assurance methodology during software development and maintenance
• Collaborate closely with colleagues inside and outside your team
• Co-create new concepts and designs with colleagues in senior and architect roles
• Drive co-innovation with high-profile, global customers
• Support your team by assuming additional tasks of a technical or organizational nature, as required

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required skills:

• Excellent bachelor or master’s degree in one of the following or related areas:
• Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics
• Strong programming skills in at least one object-oriented language, for example, ABAP Objects, C#, Java, C++ or similar
• Experience in at least one of the following languages: SQL, HTML, Java Script or similar
• Strong analytical skills
• Being a strong team player
• Displaying strong communication skills, flexibility and adaptability in a fast-evolving environment
• Fluent in English and German

Preferred skills:

• Programming experience in ABAP Objects or SAP UI5
• Expertise in Logistics, Sales Order Management, Production Planning or Supply Chain Management

WORK EXPERIENCE
Up to 2 years of working experience in software development (preferably ERP or S/4HANA) or a related area
