PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES

Moving our core to the Cloud with SAP S/4HANA enables a fast deployment and decreases implementation time for customers.

With a focus on E2E Business Process Architecture you will be working with customers to support their roadmap and adoption towards the Intelligent Enterprise. You will collaborate closely with a group of experts to influence and define the Enterprise Architecture for the Intelligent Enterprise starting from the Digital Core.

The position will report into the Head of Enterprise Architecture & Cross Engineering.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

You will work closely with co-innovation customers in the EMEAs Region to educate them on SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise Suite and the role of S/4HANA as the Digital Core. You will support customer journeys towards the Intelligent Enterprise, provide E2E business process enablement, support integration challenges and be an advocate for customers towards our development teams, representing their requirements related to the Intelligent Enterprise.

Overall duties include, but are not limited to:

Close collaboration with our S/4HANA Product Management, Field Sales, Service & Partner organization to:

• Contribute to defining the overall architecture vision for the S/4 product and actively participate in the definition of the Intelligent Enterprise Suite Architecture; this includes the identification of foundation capabilities and re-use services 
• Drive E2E business process support and definition, contribute to E2E business process roadmaps of SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise solution with a focus on S/4HANA Cloud editions based on market and customer requirements in the EMEA Region
• Establish a strong collaboration with LOBs and actively contribute to the E2E business process integration roadmap with process expertise, customer validation, and customer requirements roll-in.
• Support the initial innovation lifecycle with customers and partners (discovery & sales) as well as ad-hoc request that need immediate action
• Actively support certain customer projects as development angel to ensure project success and maximum customer satisfaction
• Help our customers shape their technical landscape with a focus on maximum compatibility with SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise Suite
• Understand the as-is situation and goals of a customer for a broad area holistically (e.g. industry, LoB), and translate them into an appropriate business-driven IT-roadmap and design (processes, applications, systems) based on SAP’s offerings, with a clear focus on customer success.
• Clarify existing expectations from various stakeholders with the customer; create a path to solution which integrates diverse points of views and which serves as a starting point for future business
• Collaborate with customer / SAP team for the best possible implementation 
• Help safeguard early projects of S/4HANA Cloud by active involvement as Process & Technical Architecture Expert for projects in the Americas region when respective knowledge is needed
• Act as a advisor to the customer with a broad Application-, LoB- and/or Industry-focus, covering the entire business of a customer end-to-end
• Act as spokesperson representing the S/4HANA organization internally and externally with deep customer, market, and product expertise

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administrations, Economics or Information Technology 
• Integrity and intrinsic motivation for delivering results and passion for our customers’ success
• As Is and To-Be Enterprise Architecture / Cloud Architecture / EA Strategy & Modeling / Enterprise Architecture and Roadmap 
• Business & IT alignment / Business Architecture / Transformation Roadmap 
• Development know-how in at least one development technology such as NW ABAP, SAP Java, Java Script, etc.
• Good knowledge in Process Modelling, ideally in BPMN 2.0
• Design Thinking / Digital Strategy / Digital Transformation / IT Strategy
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and solutions
• Ability to reorient quickly and prioritize for best outcomes and value
• Customer orientation with a strong focus on outcome and business value
• Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to create compelling storylines for executive consumption
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
