Controller (f/m/d) EMEA Derma in Hamburg

As a Controller (f/m/d) for EMEA Derma Business (Europe, Middle East, South Africa) you are the part of the Beyond Finance Team and report directly to the Head of Finance EMEA Derma. You support the regional Team as well as EMEA Derma GM (General Manager) as a business partner, and you are the contact person for controllers in subsidiary companies.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Coordination of the annual Business planning processes for EMEA – Derma/Pharmacy business; Definition of important timelines in line with global processes; analysis and evaluation of country plans/FCs in cooperation with the Head of Finance EMEA and GM EMEA
• Coordination, controlling and evaluation of the monthly, quarterly and annual reports and forecasts, including risks and opportunities management; Interface to Global Finance
• Key role in developing more efficient, effective and simpler Controlling-Tools and Reporting for a centralized steering of the EMEA Business
• Ensuring business excellence across the entire P&L, e.g. Customer conditions and Price Management, Margin Management, Marketing budget efficiency, country-specific, deep dive analysis and support in projects
• Further development of EMEA Finance Community; Conducting workshops and ensuring ‘Best Practice Sharing’; close exchange with local controllers
• Planning, monitoring and managing of the regional cost (General expenses, IT costs) and in close cooperation with GM EMEA
• Support in further development of EMEA Strategy and country-specific Business Cases

• Studies in Economics or Business Administration, ideally with major in Finance/Controlling
• Relevant working experience in the field Finance/Controlling
• Strong analytical (numbers, data, facts) and communicative (presentations, recommendations for the management) skills
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong self-initiative: Goal- and performance oriented, independent, structured way of working
• Experienced user of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), SAP and BI
• Extensive P&L knowledge and experience in accounting processes would be beneficial
• Passion for growth, to drive success in a changing business environment

• Fluent in spoken and written English, German language skills are an advantage
