Our product development team is looking for a self-starter who learns fast and is open to the challenges of collaborative product development. You will join a highly motivated and fun team using lean and agile methodologies. With our hands-on mentality, we love to learn and experiment continuously and put quality in the center of development.
By joining emnos as the DevOps Engineer on the team your work will be key in building products true to our vision to enable “simpler, better, faster decision making in retail”.
 
YOUR CHALLENGES
  • Close collaboration with the development teams to standardize deployment pipelines, testing and infrastructure provisioning for the emnos products in different environments
  • Manage, maintain and extend our emnos private/hybrid cloud as foundation of the development of the emnos products
  • Provide application support for the emnos products and joining the 2nd level support team
  • Compiling necessary infrastructure change requests for the service provider
  • Create and monitor data load/refresh (ETL) processes between customers and emnos products
YOUR TOOLS
  • In-depth experience with CD tools like Jenkins and Ansible
  • Experience in script programing (bash, Python)
  • Experience with the configuration of HAProxy, Apache httpd and Apache Tomcat
  • Familiar with virtualisation technologies in Linux (KVM, LXC/D)
  • Basics in SQL databases and Hadoop
  • Experience in network, firewall and load balancing infrastructure
  • You are open minded, acting proactively and believe in continuous learning
  • Excellent communication and decision making skills and someone that loves working in a team
NOT A MUST, BUT A PLUS
  • Experience in operational security (OS and application hardening, access management)
  • Experience with cloud server infrastructure Microsoft Azure or similar
