Technical Resident - ITL Aachen (m/w)

• The first two months in Ottobrunn within the Merlin project team.
• Later located in ILT (Aachen) with frequent travels to Ottobrunn.

• Acquire an in-depth knowledge of the supplier leading to an effective control of the supplier
• Consolidate all aspects of supplier Statement of Work and monitor its execution.
• Coordinate and facilitate the interfaces of all the Airbus stakeholders involved in the supplier technical management.
• Reinforce the system engineering and AIT of ILT through a direct involvement in the LASO engineering and AIT activities.
• Analyse the development schedule, propose optimisations, support integration of the supplier schedule in to project master schedule.
• Integrate supplier reporting methodology in to project reporting process.
• Lead or support manufacturing, test, acceptance and delivery reviews

• Completed studies in physics, mathematics, electrical engineering or comparable.
• Experience in the aerospace industry
• Detailed knowledge and industrial experience in laser and detector technologies
• Knowledge of Quality System ISO 9001
• Experience in subcontractors management in technology and development programs
• Project management background is required
• Awareness of appropriate standards for space, ESA, ECSS, DSCC, MIL, etc.
• Fluent German and English, both spoken and written
