Quality and NDT Technician (f/m) in Salzgitter

Your responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements
• Create quality plans and procedures as required
• Take charge of import and domestic claims reporting and create respective records
• Maintain NDT employee records and equipment calibration records
• Write final inspection and hollow inspection reports
• Provide guidance for all NDT equipment and inspection technicians
• Follow trials of new products and/or processes
• Support the company’s interest and policy
• Report directly to the quality manager in our international organization

Your profile:

• High School diploma, GED or ideally college degree in a relevant field
• NDT certification according to ASNT SNT-TC-1A – Level II or III for VT, UT, PT and EC certified by recognized and qualified institutions
• At least 2 years of practical experience in quality and NDT (UT & EC)
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2008 and 2015 desirable
• Intermediate user skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to write and develop procedures as required
• Openness and willingness to drive change as well as to contribute to the improvement of our work processes
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
