Our live games team is searching for a new Senior Java Gameplay Server Developer (m/f) to work closely with the design team and develop new and outstanding gameplay features.

Your Job:

• Work closely with the design and monetization teams to ensure that the gameplay features meet the functional requirements and inform each team about technical capabilities and limitations
• Collaborate with gameplay developers and studio devops to identify and deliver feature and performance improvements, such as memory usage and load times
• Coach and guide gameplay developers, increasing their knowledge in source code optimization and designing efficient code
• Consult the technical producer and technical expert team on the architecture of new and existing features
• Define and lead gameplay prototypes

Your Profile:

• Highly qualified in Java with professional experience in multi-threading, databases (SQL), and game logic development
• Able to consider maintainability, performance, and the gameplay experience for our players while creating game code
• A proactive mindset combined with results and cost-oriented thinking
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to see beyond established solutions
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operating and developing games or digital products
