YOUR TASKS
Within the Global DWH Engineering Team you can work with a huge amount of data and help us to get better by using it in the right way in Germany, Poland, Mexico, Italy and Austria.
We're not only dealing with data, but also heading towards Continuous Delivery and constantly improve and converge our systems to become a truly Global Data Warehouse by migrating our services into the public cloud. Besides taking over the responsibility for the quality of our data products, you will also define automation strategies in the public cloud.
You will
- analyze, understand and accompany requirements from the first user story until go-live within an agile team
- be part of and participate in an active QA community
- define QA processes in an agile team
- develop test concepts & strategies as well as test automation strategies & automation of software tests
- assist in methodology and guidance and develop test patterns
- document and monitor testing outcomes and establish steps to remedy problems
- develop and maintain test execution steps in an automated framework
- document test cases and create effective and focused testing plans and test reports
- do unit test reviews

Python, Google Cloud Services (BigQuery, Dataproc, Cloud Build, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, DataFlow) , Terraform, Airflow, Kafka, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm, Oracle PL/SQL
YOUR PROFILE
- You have 6+ years of work experience as a Data Quality Engineer (m/f/d) or in a similar position
- You have 3+ years of work experience with Google Cloud Services
- You are a clean coder with an agile mindset, and you love DevOps
- You have very good Python knowledge
- You have experience with software testing
- Hands-on experience with unit, component and system testing
- Experience with test automation
- You are characterized by your high-quality awareness and your trustworthiness
- You can work independently in an agile team
- You have very good English language skills
