Solution Architect (f/m/d) in Köln

Our customers use various standard software in order to run their day-to-day business. This can be out-of-the-box shop software solutions (Shopware, Shopify, etc.) or CRM systems such as Salesforce or Zendesk.  Our Connect Team’s mission is to ensure the best possible integration of Trusted Shops product range into our customers system landscape. Using the plugins and solutions the team builds, merchants can easily implement our products by just a couple of clicks.

• Analysis of business requirements and the transformation of those into technical solutions
• Writing concepts and design interfaces for digital integrations & PlugIns into 3rd party systems with focus on high availability and scalability
• Having an eye for the domain architecture while executing those integrations
• Supported by Project Managers, acting as the technical interface between agencies, 3rd party systems and our product engineering teams
• Supporting the documentation and execution of support requests from the 3rd parties

• Several years of experience in professional software engineering, preferably in a SaaS context
• Proficient skills in the world of Java and/or web-development with Javascript and/ or PHP (best practices, design patterns and standards)
• Architectural knowledge as well as a good understanding of APIs and PlugIns
• At least basic understanding of the concept of cloud-computing and cloud-based services (e.g. AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus
