Product Owner/Hardware Engineering Student in Hamburg

Evitado is revolutionizing the way aircraft are moved on the ground. Evitado is developing the first plug-and-play collision avoidance system for aircraft ground movements, bringing autonomous solutions traditionally found in the automotive industry into new exciting use cases. Our vision is to make autonomous aircraft push backs a reality. Founded in Hamburg in 2019 by 3 American engineers and entrepreneurs, Evitado’s international team is shaking up innovation within the aviation industry, and we are looking for enthusiastic new team members.

We are currently looking for a part time or student working team member with experience in the areas of hands on hardware work, hand on electronic work, 3D modeling, and 3D printing.

Your Tasks:

• Assistance in designing and building the hardware aspects of our system
• PCB Board Design and Manufacturing
• CAD modeling and Simulation using Fusion 360
• 3D Printing
• Inventory Management
• Some exposure to end users in the field to gain feedback

Your Profile:

• Student in the field of engineering, ausbildung, or a maker with relevant skills (mechanical/electrical/mechatronics/robotics)
• Hands on experience with electronics and building integrated system solutions, soldering
• Experience in 3D design modeling and printing, especially with Autocad Fusion 360
• A creative mind who is also a quick learner and highly resourceful/independent
• Fluent in English (as this is our primary operating language)
